Incorporate statistically reliable and valid surveys and simulations into your research protocol
Human Synergistics materials are designed for change and development programs
and for use by trainers and consultants. However, instruments such as the
Organizational Culture Inventory provide statistically valid and
reliable means for conducting quantitative research. Therefore, our inventories
are frequently used by university faculty members and graduate students for
research purposes.
Human Synergistics supports the research use of the inventories (and
simulations) by offering a research discount on materials purchased exclusively
for such purposes. Researchers interested in obtaining a research discount
should submit to Human Synergistics two copies of their research proposal
including information on the procedures, the number of people to be surveyed,
and funding constraints. In exchange for any research discounts approved by
Human Synergistics, investigators are expected to provide us with:
(1) copies of all working papers, presentations, reports to sponsors and
manuscripts to be submitted for publication which present results and
(2) a copy of the data collected through the use of the materials as soon as
such data become available. Researchers can submit the scoring sheets (i.e.,
NCR second sheets), a raw data file (ASCII file), or an SPSS/Windows file.
Researchers will be asked to sign a letter of agreement confirming the terms of
